Kickstarter

The campaign is over. The store is happening.

Multiversity’s Kickstarter ran for one month, from March 31 to April 30, 2026. The goal was $20,000. When the clock ran out, 213 backers had pledged $28,697.

I asked my corner of Texas whether it wanted a science fiction and fantasy bookstore badly enough to fund one. It said yes, at 143 percent.

To the 213

I feel like I’ve said it over and over through the Kickstarter updates system, so I don’t want to go overboard here, but thank you. Some of you I’ve known for decades, but most of you I’ve never met, and you handed money to a stranger because the idea of this store meant something to you. I’m still flabbergasted that it worked.

Rewards are in progress, and you’ll keep getting updates through Kickstarter until every last one is delivered.
